Senior journalist allegedly assaulted by police

Senior journalist, Sajeev Gopalan, from ‘Kalakaumudi’ newspaper, was allegedly assaulted by cops at his own house in Kerala on Sunday after he exposed the cops for their wrong report. Reportedly, Varkala inspector assaulted him multiple times after the journalist exposed that the police filed a report in favour of the accused in a case in which two women were kidnapped. Reports also say that sub-inspector Viju Kumar also brutally assaulted him.
